Originally from Northern California, Dr. Pey-Yi Kevin Lin received a BA in Business Economics at the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA). He then received a Master’s Degree in Physiology at the prestigious Georgetown University in Washington DC followed by completion of medical school at the University of Toledo in Ohio.

Dr. Pey-Yi Kevin Lin then completed a five year General Surgery residency at the University of Illinois – Chicago Metropolitan Group Hospitals. During his general surgery training, he was able to build a strong foundation in surgical skills, medical knowledge, and discipline.

Dr. Pey-Yi Kevin Lin then continued his surgical training by completing a three year Plastic and Reconstructive fellowship at the University of Texas – Health Science center at Houston. There Dr. Pey-Yi Kevin Lin trained under nationally renowned aesthetic and reconstructive surgeons, gaining valuable insight and an unparalleled experience.

She also was very thorough in walking through the surgery day preparations and the recovery process. "I am one month post tummy tuck and 360 liposuction and I couldn’t be more happy with my investment. Great Experience with Dr Lin

Dr Lin is so nice and calm. I did a virtual consult first. He took the time to talk about the procedure, we talked about the photos I submitted, and what my expectations were. At my pre-op, I went to the downtown office and it was very nice and clean. The staff is very well organized! They even call to remind you about your upcoming appointments. Surgery day was at the surgical center which was also very clean. Everyone (e.g., nurse, anesthesiologist, assistants, etc) was very professional and nice. The anesthesiologist was thorough and took the time to discuss my past experiences with anesthesia which made me feel very safe because he paid extra attention to details. Dr Lin also came to see me before surgery to talk about our game plan, to answer additional questions, and to mark me up. After surgery, I woke up to someone next to my bed— I was never alone. They helped give me juice with a straw and someone was always there until my husband arrived to pick me up. Recovery was pretty easy for the most part. His team is always just a text or phone call away if you ever need anything. A few days after surgery, the surgical center called to see how I was doing. In addition to my BA, I also had a nipple reduction and they look so good I could cry (happy tears of course)! I’m still in recovery but the new boobs are doing well! My best friend is getting her BA done by Dr Lin soon, too! And another friend is planning on getting other work done at Chicago Breast and Body simply because of how well organized and attentive the staff is. Highly recommend!

Dr. Lin was great! My surgery was a success!!! You can’t even tell I got a boob job! I recommend Dr. Lin for all breast augmentations! I didn’t have much down time as I thought I would and that’s great! I was extremely nervous before and the day of my surgery but everyone make me feel better and calmed my nerves! His assistant Jill is great! They were both they for me no matter the time or day.
