How is a BBL Reduction Performed?

A BBL reduction typically involves liposuction to remove extra fat from the buttocks and create a smaller, more balanced shape. During the procedure, the surgeon makes small incisions in targeted areas of the buttocks.

A thin, hollow tube called a cannula is then inserted through these incisions to gently break up and suction out the excess fat. Vaser may be used to help melt the unwanted fat and break up the scar tissue from a previous Brazilian Butt Lift procedure.

After fat is removed during a BBL reduction, some patients may experience loose skin. To ensure a smooth, natural-looking result, skin tightening may be necessary or recommended. During surgery, we use Renuvion, an advanced technology that helps tighten the skin immediately. For additional post-op skin tightening, Morpheus8 may be suggested to further improve skin firmness and texture. These treatments work together to enhance the final shape of the buttocks, creating a more sculpted and balanced appearance.

The procedure is done with great precision to ensure symmetry and proportional results. While some swelling and bruising are expected during recovery, most patients see noticeable improvements as the healing process continues.
