Dr. Anh-Tuan Truong is a triple board-certified cosmetic surgeon with an impressive list of academic and professional achievements.

After graduating at the top of his high school class in Denver, Colorado, Dr. Truong was accepted to the University of Notre Dame on a full academic scholarship. He graduated from Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree, with a double-major in Pre-Medical Studies and English. He was awarded the prestigious designation of Notre Dame Scholar, given to only the top fifteen percent of each class.

Dr. Truong returned to Denver where he completed his medical studies at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. During his time in Colorado, Dr. Truong was encouraged to pursue a surgical career by his professors who saw in him the rare combination of intellect and talented hands that are the hallmarks of an excellent surgeon.

After completing his surgical internship at the University of Illinois Chicago’s Metropolitan Group Hospitals, Dr. Truong pursued an additional five years of comprehensive general surgery training. This included extensive hands-on experience across all areas of the human body, from complex cancer and vascular surgeries to trauma and minimally invasive procedures. A significant highlight of his training was an entire year dedicated solely to burn injury treatment at the Cook County Hospital Burn Center. Dr. Truong also distinguished himself as Chief Resident at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Lutheran General Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, and St. Francis Hospital. Throughout his surgical training, he received numerous awards, and his groundbreaking research in skin regeneration and artificial skin has been published in respected medical journals.

After completing his general surgery training, Dr. Truong advanced his passion for aesthetic surgery by earning a place in the highly competitive American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship. During this fellowship, he dedicated himself to mastering the art and practice of cosmetic surgery. His extensive training encompassed a wide range of procedures, including facial rejuvenation techniques, breast and body contouring surgeries, liposuction, body sculpting, and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures. This experience has allowed Dr. Truong to develop exceptional skills and a keen eye for delivering natural, transformative results.

Following his fellowship with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Truong completed an intensive three-year apprenticeship in aesthetic plastic surgery at Chicago Cosmetic Surgery in Illinois. During this time, he worked closely with Dr. Michael Byun, one of Chicago’s most esteemed board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeons. Under Dr. Byun's expert guidance, Dr. Truong refined his skills in facial rejuvenation, breast and body enhancement, laser surgery, and advanced skin care techniques, further enhancing his expertise and commitment to delivering outstanding aesthetic results.

From 2007 to 2014, Dr. Truong built Tampa Bay Surgical Arts into one of the most highly regarded cosmetic surgery practices in the Tampa Bay area, performing thousands of cosmetic surgery procedures.

In 2014, Dr. Truong returned to his hometown of Chicago, Illinois, to establish Chicago Breast & Body Aesthetics, a practice specializing in cosmetic surgery and body sculpting. Today, his practice has grown into a leading group of elite surgeons and stands as one of the largest and most respected cosmetic surgery centers in Illinois.

Lipo 360 & upper arms can finally see the definition in my abs, back & arms

I could NOT be happier with my results! I've always been pretty athletic (even lifted weights competitively at one point) but always had a stubborn layer of fat on my abdomen and more recently, also on my upper arms. Dr. T captured what I wanted to have - a nice TUSH, not big butt. I am Asian with a rectangular body shape & with absolutely no ass. Now I have an inverted shape with smaller waist.
