What Are The benefits of Asian Eyelid lift surgery?
During your initial consultation, Dr. Vagotis will listen to you closely and document exactly what you want from your blepharoplasty. Patients who opt for an Asian eyelid lift typically have a weak or absent pre-tarsal crease, resulting in a single lid appearance. The goal of the surgery is not to “Westernize” the eyelids, but instead to accentuate and enhance Asian eyelid ethnic features.
Other procedures performed with asian eyelid lift.
An asian eyelid lift may also commonly be performed with a whole facial rejuvenation including rhinoplasty, facelift or dermal fillers.
How is the asian eyelid lift surgery performed?
Dr. Vagotis uses special techniques to give you a result that looks natural. Her specialized techniques result in a natural-appearing double Asian eyelid, less tired, drowsy, and puffy appearance to the eyelids, and an overall “brighter” appearance to the eyes. Dr. Vagotis' vast experience, meticulous technique, and attention to detail will always maximize the chances for a safe, symmetric result with minimal bleeding, bruising, and downtime.
What is the Recovery?
The recovery time for Asian eyelid surgery is typically about one week. During this time, you can expect some bruising, swelling, and redness around the eyes. Most of these symptoms should subside within 3-5 days. It is important to keep the area clean and dry, and to avoid touching or rubbing the eyes. You may also experience some discomfort and tightness, but this should go away after a few days. After the first week, you should be able to resume most normal activities. It may take up to two or three weeks for the swelling and bruising to completely disappear.
How Much Does It Cost?
Everyone wants cosmetic surgery but most worry about the cost of Asian eyelid surgery. We offer Care Credit™ and other financing options that make “the best of the best” affordable on almost any budget.
