What is Renuvion?

Renuvion (often called J-Plasma) is a minimally invasive energy device that combines radiofrequency with helium plasma to coagulate and contract subcutaneous soft tissue. Our surgeons recommend Renuvion for improving the appearance of loose skin in areas such as the abdomen, arms, thighs, neck and under-chin area. At Chicago Breast and Body, Dr. Anh-Tuan Truong and Dr. Kevin Lin use Renuvion to achieve smoother, more defined results with smaller incisions and minimal downtime.

Who is a good candidate for Renuvion?

• You have mild to moderate skin laxity and want tighter contours without a surgical lift.
• You’re planning liposuction (or recently had it) and want added soft-tissue contraction to refine results.
• Your weight is stable, you’re in good general health, and you have realistic goals.

Renuvion is not a substitute for a tummy tuck, arm lift, or other excisional lift if you have significant excess skin.
