Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing & Social Media Coordinator Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 years’ experience managing social media platforms and campaigns. The Marketing & Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging content, managing online communities, and analyzing performance metrics. Remote or telecommuting options are not available for this role. The Social Media Assistant will be expected to work from our office location(s) and collaborate with team members in person.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement on various platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Create and publish relevant, original, and high-quality content to attract and engage target audiences.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and monitoring.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor social media trends, best practices, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and make strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct regular analysis of social media insights and campaign performance to optimize content and measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and PR, to align social media activities with overall marketing objectives.
  • Stay updated with the aesthetics & plastic surgery industry and social media marketing

Front Desk Medical Receptionist

Position Summary

Our well known and highly-rated Plastic Surgery Center is looking to add a Front Desk Coordinator to our team. We are a busy plastic surgery practice with five providers. In addition to our surgical practice, we offer a robust medical spa and injectable practice.

This role requires, answering phones and leads, checking patients in and processing payments. This position would also assist in following up with patients after their procedures to ensure an exceptional experience.

Experience in plastic surgery is a plus, but would also consider candidates with hospitality and customer service backgrounds. Looking for a polished professional who makes the first and last impression for our patients and exceptional one.

Surgical Technologist

Job Summary: We are in search of a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to work at our state-of-the-art, multi-specialty surgery center located in Downtown Chicago. This position will facilitate the safe and efficient performance of cosmetic surgical procedures for award-winning top plastic surgeons.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure based on each surgeon’s preference.
  • Maintain the highest standard of sterile technique during the procedure.
  • Work as surgical scrub and assist during the surgery.
  • Operate and manage all surgical equipment.
  • Manage surgical dressings.
  • Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and the operating room.
  • Assist with patient while in the recovery room.
  • Assist with patient discharge. 
  • Properly manage specimen processing. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Diploma from an accredited surgical technology program 
  • Must have and maintain an active Illinois Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification. 
  • Minimum one year of surgical experience in a surgical setting.
  • BLS/ACLS Certification is Required

Performance Requirements:
Knowledge:

  1. Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
  2. Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control.

Skills:

  1. Skill in operating surgical equipment.
  2. Skill in organizational matters including time management, prioritization, and multitasking.

Equipment Operated: Office machinery including surgical equipment, autoclaves, computers, printers.

Work Environment: Medical office, well lighted, well ventilated. Work may be stressful due to a busy office. This is an active job which requires many hours on your feet. You will have frequent contact with staff and patients.

Operating Room / PACU Nurse

General Responsibilities

  • Conducts intakes and assesses patient needs and make nursing judgments that reflect safe nurse practices.
  • Cleans instruments and equipment and maintains stock of supplies.
  • Conducts specified laboratory tests as directed by the Nurse Manager standing orders.
  • Explains process to patient and instructs and assists patient in assuming physical position for examination.
  • Maintains accurate patient records under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.
  • Attends medical conferences that offer professional training and information pertinent to the center’s practices to meet State CME requirements.
  • Responsible for reading and implementing the Medical Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Perform and maintain accreditation duties as assigned by OR manager
  • OR Staff Scheduling

Circulating/Peri-Operative Responsibilities:

The circulating nurse is responsible for managing all nursing care within an operating room.

  • Acting as an advocate for the patient before, during, and after surgery.
  • Calling/Performing an official “TIME OUT”.
  • Monitoring and recording the patient’s vitals pre-procedure and possible during.
  • Recording every aspect of an operation, including the names and titles of those performing the surgery, the tools used, the amount of anesthetic a patient received, how long the surgery lasted, and a patient health assessment.
  • Advising the surgical team on potential harm to the patient during surgery.
  • Escorting patients to the recovery room post-procedure.
  • Accounting for all tools used during the procedure.
  • Coordinating and recording activities in the event of an emergency.

Pre-Operative, Recovery Room & PACU Responsibilities:

The Pre-Operative and Post-Operative Nurse is responsible for managing nursing care before and after a surgical procedure.

  • Providing nursing care to patients via monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment.
  • Assess patients prior to surgery.
  • Ensure that operative and informed consents are signed and in order.
  • Monitor and record vitals of patients to ensure readiness for surgical procedure.
  • Initiate IVs and ensure that patients are informed about the procedure.
  • Assess patients’ post-operative condition.
  • Monitor vital signs.
  • Record all findings in patient files.
  • Answer patient questions and ensure they are kept comfortable.
  • Monitor patients for condition changes and report any changes to the physician.
  • Perform intervention duties in cases of post-operative emergency.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on preoperative care instructions and postoperative care instructions.

Medical Supplies and Inventory Responsibilities

  • Monitor supplies weekly to ensure adequate supplies are available
  • Stock rooms & medical supply room
  • Order medical supplies
  • Keep the medical supply room clean and organized

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing required
  • At least two years of OR experience preferred
  • Current RN License in Illinois required
  • Current BLS & ACLS Certification in Illinois required
